Perth Children's Hospital Foundation (PCHF) fuels the fight on the frontline to help children get well and stay well. The challenges we see every day within Perth Children's Hospital and related health services directly influence the solutions we fund.

Our funding aims to deliver impact by improving patient health and wellbeing outcomes, addressing equity and demonstrating world-class care. 

We fund initiatives or solutions that fall into the following categories:

• Medical Research: transform the future of child health by finding new ways to prevent, treat, and manage the conditions that affect children's health and wellbeing.
• Positive Patient Experiences: create positive memories for every child and family throughout their time in hospital.
• Equipment and Technology: invest in advanced innovations that significantly improve diagnosis and treatment outcomes and enable a world-class standard of paediatric care.
• Expertise and Knowledge Translation: attract and retain a highly skilled paediatric health workforce and strengthen clinical capability to improve health outcomes and wellbeing for children.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to apply, your proposal must:

• be led by an employee of Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS).
• be delivered within a CAHS approved site.
• fall under at least one of our funding categories.
• directly benefit children and their families.
• not cover costs considered part of CAHS's day-to-day operations, such as recruiting core clinical and operational positions, or replacing or repairing core equipment.

Expression of Interest:

The first step in applying for a grant is to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form. This is your first point of contact with the PCHF Grants team and an opportunity to start a conversation about your request.

EOIs are reviewed on a rolling basis. Due to the volume of EOIs we receive, we're unable to provide a set timeframe, but we will be in touch if your EOI is shortlisted for a full application.
