Perth Children's Hospital Foundation

Welcome to the online portal for all grant applications and acquittals for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation powered by SmartyGrants.

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation fuels the fight on the frontline to help children get well and stay well. The Foundation offers a diverse range of grants to employees of Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) and the wider Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Child and Adolescent Community Health (CACH) that enable clinicians, surgeons, nurses, researchers and staff to deliver world-class healthcare to West Australian children and young people who need it most.

The Foundation fuels the fight on the frontline to help children get well and stay well. The challenges we see every day directly influences the solutions we fund. Our total support since our modern day beginning in 1998 has totalled over $100 million, with tens of millions committed over the coming years.

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation grants fund:

  • Ground-breaking research projects and researchers that will transform the future of child health by pioneering new ways of preventing, treating and managing life-threatening and life-limiting childhood disease.
  • World-class expertise to ensure WA children have access to the best medical care possible, closer to home.
  • Innovative education and training programs to enable staff to attend training programs, study new practices and learn from international professionals through seminars and conferences so they remain top of their game in delivering world-class care to WA sick children.
  • Advanced equipment and technology that significantly improves diagnosis and treatment outcomes, shortens waiting periods for families, and allows for a better standard of paediatric care.
  • Positive patient and family experiences such as music, play and art therapies to create positive memories for sick children and their families at the Hospital.

Projects that aim to transform the future of child health, address critical areas of unmet need and promote the control or prevention of disease in children are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

The primary focus of Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation is to promote the control or prevention of disease in children and young people. The Government funds Perth Children’s Hospital to be a world-class Hospital, but additional funding moves the dial from great to outstanding, ensuring that future generations of WA children have access to better healthcare. Grant funding therefore complements, rather than substitutes, funding provided to the Hospital and broader health service by Government.

Prior to applying for funding from the Foundation, please read the PCHF Grant Application Process and Guidelines to determine your eligibility and to ensure your project will meet our organisational objectives and funding priorities. Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation strongly encourages you to speak with a member of the Foundation Grants team prior to completing an application to discuss eligibility requirements. To speak with the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation Grants Team email grants@pchf.org.au or call (08) 6456 5550.
